Wow, just busy from start to finish.  Friday was a busy day from work to the ‘hospital’ to the theater then some Rock Band until 3AM with some good friends.  Felt good! I conquered Maps by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs on Expert with 90%! (Not me playing the game in the link, I’ve yet to put any videos on YouTube of me playing a game.) So that concludes the Friday broadcast.

Saturday: Wake up, helped out the family on a huuuuge landscaping project that my grandpa decided to start on this nice toasty 104 degree weather day!  Completed that, went and auditioned for a dinner theater production today, had callbacks for it as well.  I felt good about my audition, even my vocals for once.  So that was a breath of fresh air. After some rest, I headed out to Village Green to help them paint and prepare for their opening bash and now just getting home and chilling online with friends.

I did have to post a review about the play though.  I’ve been asked to review it on Now Playing Utah after seeing it.  So I did, but I figured I’d give the less formal bits about the show here.

I saw the play at my old stomping grounds, Beverly’s Terrace Plaza Playhouse, and I was completely entertained at the production of Lucky Stiff. To sum this play up with one sentence to describe it, I’d have to say that it is ‘Weekend at Bernie’s‘ the musical.  I’ve got quite a few good friends in this show, and they were saying that it was just a great show.  I agree with them. Everyone in the cast just does a great job creating this environment for the show.  My pal Rod plays the “Stiff.”  I give him tons of credit to not laugh at everything that happens on stage.  Got my friend Jason playing the lead male role in the show and he does a great job with that role.  Just a very fun musical where I found myself laughing a lot.  You’ve got a set of girls who think the Stiff is still alive so they try flirting with him while your protagonist has to cover up and keep the illusion going that he is still alive.  Great dance numbers, great songs, solid performances… if you live in the Northern Utah area, like seeing live theater, this is a great show you shouldn’t miss out on.

So there you have it! On that note, I think I can sleep now, have a good day and take care.
