Back from camping!

So I know, it’s a little wild… but I went camping.  I’ll make sure to post pictures as soon as I have them available. They’re on my home system, and I’m working on this at work while my systems bogged down processing jobs.  So… here we go.

Summation: Once we got there… it was probably one of the best camping experiences I’ve ever had in my life.  I’ve been really really tainted against camping for a long time mainly due to horrid experiences while camping. Mainly all of them have to do with a conflict within the family, but with all that aside, I enjoyed the hikes, the swimming, the fishing, the campfire chats, and the birthday party for my pal.  Only had some minor temper flares during the whole event, but it happens. Looking back, I still would rank this as one of my better camping events in my lifetime.

I’ll add more details as soon as I can add more pictures to the post, but figured I’d at least let anyone who reads the blog know I made it back in one piece and survived some bear country in Wyoming. Granite Creek Campgrounds – Highly recommended.  Very pretty area.

[Updated] Good amount of pics after the break, enjoy! Most of the pictures taken by my friend Sheri, you’ll see her with our “hero poses” photo.

No no no… it’s not the end of all that exists! I just have a buddy’s birthday party that I’ll be joining up the in the middle of Wyoming. Not sure about the appeal of driving 3 hours out of the way to sleep on dirt, but hey! As long as it works, right? I was tempted to bring my dog to the camp-out! She’s a Pit-bull terrier for the curious dog enthusiasts out there. However, the campsite does not allow dogs so she’ll have to sit this one out.

Anyway, while I’m gone, I’ve got to give a shout out to Flip who was able to make it down to Comic-Con. They just announced that there will be a playable demo of Little Big Planet available to the attendees.  Also there was the new SOCOM (SOCOM: Confratation) game available for demo as well. More excited to hear if he gets his hands on LBP though, so here’s hoping.

Not much else to report, so I wish everyone the best, and I’ll drop in a blog when I return for any details, as there could be quite a bit to tell when I return.  Take care, be safe, and if you can’t be good, be good at what you’re doing.

PS: These oughta keep you busy for a while! Enjoy.
